In the studio
We have currently recorded a bunch of new songs and mixing is almost done. The sound is really killer this time and we do believe we have a few hits on our hands here, haha. The first track entitled "The Waiting is Over" has already been uploaded on our MySpace site.

Radio appearance
Tonight Daniel we be appearing on the metal radio show "Stålværket" on Danish local "Radio K" (105,7 FM for you guys living near Korsør).

Our brand new EP entitled "The World Slaughter EP" is now done and just arrived from the printery yesterday and it looks fucking sweet!

Søren
Six String Slaughter guitarist Søren Jensen has been chosen as one of the 20 people who have been invited to the Metal Workshop at Danish National Radio's headquarters in Copenhagen on June 26th.
Together with the rest of the group, Søren will be contributing to the development of the new national metal DAB radio station.
16-05-2009 - Management deal with CBBM
We're pleased to announce that Six String Slaughter has just made a management deal with CBBM who also manages Musica Diablo (Derrick Green of Sepulturas new project) and Danish hard rockers Chainfist among others.
The interest concerning SSS is already rising rapidly and we're very much looking forward to working with CBBM whom we feel is just right for promoting this band.
17-04-2009 - New track revealed on MySpace
The work with Daniel is progressing at a lightning pace and the result can already be heard as we have uploaded the first track to our MySpace site.
Also big things are lurking beneath the six string surface and hopefully we should have some very good news ready for you guys within a week or two.

We're very excited to announce the recruitment of Daniel Wilkens as the bands new lead vocalist. Daniel has over a decade of experience and one of the strongest vocals we've heard. Besides being an extremely cool guy, Daniel also possesses an extreme dedication towards the metal scene in general.

This Friday Søren will be helping out Chainfist as a session drummer when they support Danish Death-old-boys Konkhra at Badeanstalten, Slagelse.

The drums, bass and guitars for all 5 tracks have now been recorded.

The pre-recording of the first track was done this evening and we are very happy with the result which predict a very brutal, yet melodic style.
